Dawg Prints 2.0 🧢👒
After the Dawg Prints Canvasing ordeal failed, I pivoted to a whole different industry: hats! I spotted a beautifully discounted Cricut Explore Air and Cricut Hat Press at Michaels and stunned by the price, snatched them. I immediately shopped around for some patches and hats and got to work the moment I got home. Being a sorority girl and in college, I was confident that I could push a market for this onto my peers. I made some cute cowgirl hats and baseball caps with what I found that day and just needed to figure out the Cricut to make more personalized versions. I stole the name from my previous venture, created a logo and socials, and was actually able to get an audience unlike before. Needless to say, this endeavor was put to a bit of a halt when I said goodbye to my sweet Tyson. For weeks I tried to channel my energy into learning the Cricut as a distraction but before I knew it I was headed back to school and had a new puppy at my feet. In the process of moving, sorority recruitment, and beginning class, I deemed this another lost cause and put my equipment up for sale. In the end, however, thanks to my trusty writing skills on Facebook marketplace, I was able to make back my money on the Cricut machines. Though I really could’ve seen this as a fun side hobby during the school year, the timing just did not work out for me and I had to learn to accept this and move on!ðŸ¤
