The University of Georgia curriculum requires that students fulfill an experiential service-learning credit. This semester, I knew I wanted to take MARK4600, Integrated Marketing and Brand Communication, and was able to complete this credit within this course via a semester-long project with an actual company.

How cool is it that I got to work on an actual marketing campaign for class credit?

My teammates and I were assigned to work with Mitch Rutledge at Vertice AI, an AI-utilizing member growth platform for credit unions. Mitch, who is based here in Athens, shared that his company is hosting two breakfast events for current and prospective clients in March. We met with him biweekly and spent this semester curating ideas and content for this event that Vertice can readily launch once the new year begins.
