Over the last year, I have worked on a number of websites for clients (including myself) via templates on WordPress, Wix, GoDaddy, and Shopify. Anytime I came to a dead-end and needed to make a change at the “code” level, I took to my handy friends, YouTube and Google. This semester, I decided to take a Web Development class to understand websites down to the literal bare bones. Our first project, my “Boujee on a Budget Fits” site, is built from complete scratch with no Bootstrap. Though it is no comparison to my other projects, it started as just a <!DOCTYPE html> and is now an actual site, which is wild to me!
