Hi there! I’m Jillian.
I’m a senior at the University of Georgia studying Marketing with a Digital Emphasis and a New Media Certificate. I have also earned my Arch Ready Professionalism Certificate!
I have called marketing my passion since I was 14. I competed in DECA competitions all 4 years of high school, creating business plans and presenting them at the state and international level. There was no doubt that I was going to major in marketing in college.
Joining the American Marketing Association at UGA and learning about the fast-paced day-to-day life at an agency was highly appealing to me. I wanted to get a taste of that industry, but being an involved, full-time student means an unpredictable schedule.
In June of 2024, I sought to solve this issue by launching my own freelance endeavor. Being able to manage my own work schedule has allowed me to organize doing what I love with classes and extracurriculars.
As a Georgia Bulldog, I’ve had the opportunity to work with companies’ marketing for class projects and extracurricular activities, both in real life and as a hypothetical pitch. I competed on a Client Team through AMA at UGA, and decided then that I wanted to run as the Director of Client Services, managing this program that connects members to semester-long internships. Throughout my junior year term, I beat previous years’ records for both the number of companies and student applications. I loved my time on the exec board so much that I ran again to serve as the Director of External Relations for my senior year. I plan Athens company tours, Atlanta day trips, and I’m planning a NYC visit for the Spring!
In addition to AMA, I am a current member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority and Society of Entrepreneurs. In recent years, I have competed in the Digital Marketing Competition and been a member of Women in Business, UGA Miracle, and the Guide Dog Foundation.

Attention to detail is a very strong skill of mine. I’ve always had an eye for what looks right and what looks like it could use some tweaks. I will never pass off anything to you that I don’t love!
Creative
Cookie-cutter is boring! Sure, templates exist that with a few clicks could look like it’s your work. However, I like for things to be original and stand out! That’s what makes a business thrive.

Archie Boy
My most favorite thing on this planet, even above marketing, is my dog, Archie. He is the sweetest, most-energetic teddy bear and I absolutely adore him. It’s hard to have a bad day when he’s around!
Sigma Kappa
In addition to all of my marketing work in college, I am a proud member of the Sigma Kappa sorority at UGA! I have made so many of best friends through it and love getting to spend time with them.
